- What´s SAFA (Sindrome de Adaptación Funcional Aguda or Acute Functional Adaptation Syndrome)?
SAFA and AIDS
Around 1981, 82, when papers
start to talk about AIDS, Lic. Alberto Díaz Goldfarb and Lic.
Liliana
Elsa Luque were warried because the descriptions of the illness fitted
with the synthomes their patients developed during treatment.
I'm talking about skin
problems, and other minor but characteristic features of that illness
unknown
by that time.
They had been working for
about five years following Dr. Reich theories and techniques of
Character
analysis and Orgonomy.
As you know, characterial
armour is the sum of the defensive conducts and behavioral strategies
of
a
person. Apparently,
when the armor is seriously influenced by treatment, immune system is
also
influenced, and these synthomes
appear.
Some years later, around 1986, many patients who asked for treatment were suffering, without any previous therapeutic work, these disturbances, spontaneous break down of armour and skin problems and so...
In those days Lic. Díaz Goldfarb and Lic. Luque observed in the sky a different kind of energy: A kind of white rain-like energy. They had not read "Contact with Space" yet, there is no spanish translation of this book, so they called it "cosmic energy". They found it different from orgon, they knew well, because they had been working with oracs for around ten years at that time.
This "cosmic energy" produced the kind of synthomes one may suffer while an important blockade gives up: nausea,dizziness, etc. The appearance of this new energy occured in those months while people asking for treatment came with "broken armors" and not to break them. After that there were changes in weather, and that energy was seen also in the laboratory, where there were many oracs. Since then all those changes (in weather and in patients pathology) became more and more frequent, and so they finally were descripted as SAFA (Acute Functional Adaptation Syndrome), the manner human (and we could say non human, as trees, for example, organisms) manage to adapt themselves to new atmospheric conditions.
From this point of view, AIDS would be a form of SAFA, the process is similar, and the whole syndrome too. This SAFA appeared in the course of therapy for the first time, so we consider it is a consequence of the work over defensive structures of character, this work made by therapist or by natural process of atmospheric change. If, as we think, orur is replacing orgon in atmosphere, and, as we think too, orur favours break down of armor, and break down of armor favours or is accompanied by immune system depression, then, we think, SAFA could be a pandemia in a near future. That's what we're studying now. And one therapeutic main goal is to find the ways to make this acute syndrome a progressive one, to allow the patient to follow the process volunteer and conciously.
Only in 1994 "Contact with Space" was finally translated and "cosmic energy" was identified with Dr. Reich's orur.
Part of the research now is the observation of organisms' reactions to contact with atmosferic orur: we think this is a mutation process in a planetary scale. We don't use nuclear materials, what happens probably depends on atmosphere radiation levels which are much higher now than they were in the '50s, the changes became stronger after Tchernobil.

ORGON-ORUR exchange
We understand oranur is
dor, inmovilized orgon. And orur is excited orgon, faster pulsating
orgon.
As you read above, orur was simply seen in the sky, as you may see
orgon
bluish-gray, orur is white, rain-like. It was seen in the sky and
in the orac's room. About generation orur, orur is apparently
present
in atmosphere now, we do not get or make orur, we are forced to adapt
ourselves
to it. That's why we talk about SAFA. We don't know if this
atmospheric conditions are different in Europe or in the States, we'd
like
to know. I'm thinking now that in southern hemisphere water is
much
more abbundant than earth, contrary to northern hemisphere. This
may be important. If you see a map, we're surrounded by Atlantic and
Pacific
Oceans here in Argentina, and the ozono problem is severe, not as much
as in Australia, but I think, more severe than in the North. This
is a serious theorical problem we have here: sometimes we dont't know
if the same things happen
everywhere, but are described in different ways and under different
names
or if we are in a very special place where phenomena occur in a more
accute
way. We're trying to understand, and so we like to have friends
to
talk to and discuss these matters.
AIDS,
SAFA, armor, and
biogenesis
One more thing about AIDS:
as any infectious process, according to Dr. Reich theories, it's
related
to biogenesis. Bacteria and viruses reproduce while armor can no
longer stop energy flux, as a way to protect the organism from the
sensations
this flux of energy produces. They are the ultimate line of defense.
That's
what we read in 'Cancer Biopathy'. If AIDS is related to a SAFA
process
(an spontaneous and acute break down of armor) generalized infections
come
to replace muscular armoring, and have a defensive, even though
desperate,
objective: try to "catch" the flux of energy, stop it by making
matter
from energy, living matter, those bacteria and viruses. That's why the
point to understand and treat AIDS shoud be, according to us, the
syndrome
of armor's breaking down, how to make an acute process become
progressive.
- Which are the new orgonomic devices designed by the Center Researchers?
The Centro de Estudios Biofuncionales para el Desplazamiento de la Percepción (Biofunctional Research Center for the Perception Shift) is devoted to the practice and research in Orgonomy since 1977 in Córdoba, Argentina.
During these years, the Coordinators of the Center, Alberto Díaz Goldfarb, and Liliana Elsa Luque, psychologists and orgonomists, have developed some new devices: a new accumulator, considered an orur accumulator; a pulsator, that brings DOR energy back to pulsation; and a set of seven different oracs, each of them acting specifically on one of the armour´s segments, and, during cloudbusting, on each of the seven layers of the orgone atmospheric field.
- How where those new devices tested?
We are interested on testing our devices under formal laboratory conditions in order to have some quantitative records of their functioning.
As we all know, Orgonotic Sensation is the guide in Functional Thinking, and therefore, in Orgonomic Research; without it no real progress is possible. Intellectual work should always be an a posteriori elaboration: any theoretical development prior to orgonotic sensation has only defensive functions, that is, it builds a protective barrier between researcher and nature, between inner energy flow and cosmic orgone ocean. Our results were obtained by experimental tests sustained on orgonotic sensation.
We
started building oracs
in 1981. In those early days we discovered that there is a
constant
value involved in the number of layers necessary to generate different
orgone energy fields.
Once we discovered this
constant value, we started building oracs according to it. We found we
could generate seven different orgone energy fields, and that each one
of them acts specifically on a segment of the armor. The
identification
of these seven fields was made by direct perception, and their effects
on armor segments were observed during years of therapeutic
application.
Later on, we found that some altitudes over sea level favored the healing of specific illnesses, for example, tuberculosis around 700 m over sea level. So we wondered if there could be layers or segments in the atmosphere too. We checked this out during cloudbusting operations, by using the seven oracs in turn to charge each hypothetical atmospheric segment. It worked, with excellent results. After that, we designed a glass tube containing the seven oracs: each of them luminates while the corresponding layer in the atmosphere is charged. This observations are made by one of the members of our staff who has remarkable perceptive skills.
About
technical details:
our oracs are simple oracs, as Dr. Reich described them. Our new
developments are based on direct perception of orgone energy fields and
on experimental testing.
- What is a Pulsator? How does it work?
Pulsator:
Brings
back DOR to OR pulsation
Concerning the Pulsator,
it is the safest and most efficient device we know to clean rooms of
DOR
energy: it brings DOR back to OR pulsation in a steady and gentle
way, avoiding the undesirable secondary effects of the use of oracs in
discharge.
The Pulsator, it consists in two orac panels facing
each
other on a base. The first one attracts DOR fields, generates a
current
and directs it toward the space between both panels. There
the second one attracts it and expels it out, now as pulsating
OR.
We consider DOR is immobilized OR, in a state we call "Simultaneous
Pulsation".
In this state, expansion and contraction movements are stopped in a
point
in which their amplitudes are equal. The Pulsator, by generating
a directed current, opens a gap between them, and doing so allows
contraction
and expansion to differentiate from each other. The result is OR
pulsation. In this case again the corroboration is both
perceptive
and experimental. As orgonomists we all are forced to deal with
the
problems related to DOR manipulation. We use the Pulsator in our
session rooms with excellent results.

- What is an ORUR Accumulator? And how does it work?
In 1985 we built a new experimental accumulator. It produced very strong effects on the human energy field: we called it "the Excitator". The energy within it was the same we had first observed in the sky. When in 1994 we finally obtained a Spanish translation of Contact with Space, we realized this new white energy was the same, according to description and effects on the human energy field, that Dr. Reich had used in the OROP Desert Operation.
We consider ORUR is spontaneously precipitating in the atmosphere now. We have studied its effects on ourselves, and on our patients; and we have developed some new therapeutic techniques to deal with them. We do not know whether this phenomenon (the spontaneous precipitation or ORUR in the atmosphere) is peculiar to our region or whether it is observable in other regions of the earth.
We know all this is new, and may sound strange. But all those findings and designs were achieved as a further development of Dr. Reich discoveries, and, what may be much more important, as a consequence of the exercise of Functional Thinking. Of course this is not the conventional scientific method, but we believe this shouldn’t be an objection, at least, not among our colleagues in orgonomic research.
Anyway, we are interested on conventional laboratory corroboration. We´d like to obtain some quantitative records of our devices functioning. We wonder now if the devices and methods Dr. Reich designed to test and measure OR energy properties have been improved during those years by other researchers, and if they will be adequate to record different orgone energy fields, the Pulsator functioning and the ORUR accumulator effects.
